I found this amazing company when visiting a market in Amsterdam. I bought a pack from a Japanese man after I ate at his stall. I absolutely loved it and knew it was the high quality I was looking for to stock in Sunfleck.

Deep Nutty and Roasted Aroma and Flavour
This Hojicha tea is characterised by its deep smoky and roasted aroma and flavour. This flavour together with the lower caffeine content, makes it a tea which you can enjoy throughout the day and even before going to bed.
Roasted Japanese Green Tea
The green tea leaves are roasted at a high heat. Due to this high heat, a large amount of the caffeine in the tea leaves will evaporate. This results in a lower caffeine content in Hojicha tea.

Use:
- Use water at 70–80°C (below boiling) to prevent bitterness.
- Use about 1 teaspoon (2–3g) of sencha per mug of water
- Steep for 1–2 minutes. Over-steeping can result in a bitter taste
- High-quality Hojicha can be re-steeped 2–3 times, with slightly shorter steeping times for subsequent brews.
