Rare nearly spineless Blue Barrel

Ferocactus glaucescens inemis is a beautiful almost spinless variety of the blue barrel cactus. It is famous for it's smooth blue-green colour and geometric shapes that would be perfect for any sunny living space or work space to boost mood and focus! 

It can reach 45cm diameter and stays low.

Planted into a grey terracotta pot

General Information

  • Origin🎯: native to limestone hills of Hidalgo, Mexico

Plant Care Guide

  • Light🌞: in a sunny window
  • Water💧: When soil is fully dry, about once a month give it a full soak, less in winter. No misting
  • Temperature🌡️: loves hot spaces and can tolerate low night time temperatures but no frost
  • Feeding🌱: once per month into soil spring and summer
  • Grooming🫶: no regular repotting needed, change soil with cacti succulent mix every 5 years or if the plant has gotten too big for the pot
