How to Use Lava Gravel in Your Setup

• In soil: Mix 2-5% lava gravel into potting soil to improve drainage and structure
  
• With worm castings: Combine 1 part castings with 4–5 parts soil and 0.5 part lava gravel for a balanced, biologically active mix
  
• In terrariums: Create a 1-2 cm drainage base layer below your substrate
  
• As mulch: Use as a top layer to retain moisture, suppress fungus gnats, and reduce soil compaction
  

Because it doesn’t break down, you won’t need to replace it during each repot. Just rinse and reuse.
